At the start of the film, the titular character Cinderella is working as a scullery maid in her own home for her cruel stepmother named Lady Tremaine and her two stepsisters named Anastasia and Drizella. Later on, while Cinderella is locked in her room by Lady Tremaine, Jaq attempts to get the key to her room up the stairs and is protected by Aqua when the Unversed ambush him. Ironically, Jaq has hid himself in Lucifer's thick fur atop his head, using this pause to check on Gus.
Also, in most retellings of Cinderella, one of the stepsisters, usually the younger stepsister, becomes nicer to Cinderella. The closest they get to a comeuppance is when Carter rejects the three of them when Shelby makes an unsuccessful pass at them. Lucifer's attention briefly turns to the sudden disturbance, only to have Jaq intervene by keeping his eyes closed. Anastasia Tremaine in the initial movie, Anastasia was portrayed as being just as selfish and spoiled as her sister, Drizella. She appears in the garden, and greatly transforms her appearance for the ball.
There are many different stories about her from different states and countries. The mouse named Jaq in the previous film has transformed into a human named Sir Hugh. Since then, Sam had been mistreated by her jealous stepfamily. The first is a disapproving one from her stepfamily when she shows up with the modified pink dress. Knowing the slipper will fit, Lady Tremaine plots revenge by causing the footman to trip and shatter the slipper, causing a fire when it hits the ground. The evil step-sisters couldnít fit the slipper, but Cinderella did.
And, of course, her iconic ballgown tends to be blue in merchandise. While playing softball with Hal, she is seen wearing a boy red and blue top. A has Gus putting up his fists, anytime Cinderella is mistreated. The other mice are very nice as well. Cinderella's bossy older stepsister, Anastasia's older sister, and the oldest daughter to Lady Tremaine. She is also shown to have a sarcastic side and a sharp wit.
Despite being mistreated, Aschenputtel follows her mother's wishes and prays her circumstances will improve. The wife dies shortly afterward and the grief-stricken daughter goes to grieve at her gravesite every day. The mice and her other animal friends help Cinderella escape and she hurries downstairs to try on the glass slipper, but it breaks before she can try it on. The Prince asks her father to chop the tree down, which he does only to learn there was no one in the tree. She wears her hair in a French twist supported by a powder blue headband and her accessories include powder blue opera gloves, a black choker, and glass slippers. She even gives him a huge hug to thank him for all he's done, and he reciprocates. He just can't get a break.
In , the Fairy Godmother's powerful magic wand is stolen by Anastasia, who accidentally turns her into a stone statue, and her wand is misused by the venomously evil Lady Termaine. Other highlights include stopping Anastasia upside-down during her after fitting the slipper, and angrily stopping Drizella from using the wand frivolously on herself. Jaq is the leader of Cinderella's mice and proves to be a good one at that. The expression on Lucifer's face says it all. Unlike Anastasia, who eventually liberates herself from her mother's domination, Drizella obeys her mother's every order and schemes with her to undermine her hated stepsister, Cinderella, though they are foiled by Anastasia and as punishment, they are removed of their wealth and status and are reduced to working as in Cinderella's palace. And technically the prince saves her from Lady Tremaine's clutches by making her his princess. In no time at all, the lentils are picked up and put away.
Prince Charming, although he still cannot remember her, believes the mice's tale and sets out to retrieve Cinderella before she sails off under Lady Tremaine's orders. The Prince brings her back home and asks the younger sister to try the slipper on. In the , the prince was named Kit a diminutive form of either Christopher or Christian and portrayed by. He appears in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep along with his homeworld, playing out the same role as in the film. She accentuates them with purple eye-shadow and mascara. Like her mother and sister, she left the kingdom with the Grand Duke never to return.
With her work done, she vanishes into thin air. In the third film, he reveals to Anastasia that his queen died in a house fire who's seen only as a painting was not a good dancer and gives the stepsister his most precious possession: the seashell that he and the queen touched together for the first time.
